fly fishing charters backed up by 30-odd years of fishing the Low Country
both in and off-shore. Adding to the jewels in his crown is Danny's
win at the IFA Redfish Tournament on Hilton Head last year. |

Salyers Twenty years of professional guiding in fresh and
saltwater tends to hone one's skills. Rod is honed. So honed he's been
devoting himself to chasing
trophy trout and smallmouth bass in the Holston River in southeastern

Shaw Capt. Shaw is the owner and creator of FiberTex in
South Texas. His company makes and repairs boats, fabricates center

Joe
Shute Captain Shute was the first inshore light-tackle guide
in the Cape Lookout area. He knows the flats, marshes and coastal waters
and, better yet, he knows his prey. Owner of a bait & tackle shop
and a fly shop, you might say Joe knows fishing. |
Richard
Stuhr Captain Stuhr has been fishing and boating the Lowcountry
all his life. This Charleston native can answer 'most any question you
might pose on how to fish the coastal region. He's Orvis endorsed and
a specialist in light tackle and fly fishing. His tips will sharpen
your skills. |
Ken
Sturdivant This is one friendly, likeable, hot-to-trot fisherman!
Ken developed the Southern Fishing Schools in the early eighties and
now can boast thousands of happy graduates. He's wildly popular giving
monthly fishing seminars at Bass Pro and Sportsmans Warehouse in his
home state. His background is banking (!) which, of course, is solid
footing for an angler. He's also a Lake Lanier legend starting from
the mid-50's right up until today. |
Dr.
Charles Wenner This marine scientist has devoted over 20
years to
the SCDNR. Prior to that, Charles put in years at sea working on research
vessels and studying fishes of the East Coast. He also worked on the
Johnson-Sea Link where he studied deep water reefs off the coast of
South Carolina. Today he narrows his focus to
"Fishing Reds." |
Blair
Wiggins Blair's got a habit: fishing. He's so proud of his
addiction that he broadcasts it all over the country.
You might know we're talking about his TV show, Addictive Fishing. Meet
him in person at the Ranger Boats Display. "The Mogan Man"
embodies the excitement and enthusiasm that make the sport so entertaining. |
