| When one thinks of 22' inshore fishing boat they normally think of
your typical bay boat with it's heavy weight, deep draft and cookie
cutter features. The Ibis is somewhat of a departure in that she floats
and runs shallower than the smallest flats skiff, poles and drifts much
better than your average bay boat and does it more seakindly than a
flats boat. With it's striking good looks, foam core composite construction
and long list of options its apparent it comes from a builder with over
20 years experience outfitting boats for the more discriminating angler.
Like the other models in NewWater's line the Ibis is custom built to
order. Abundant dry storage, rod locker, livewell and anchor locker
are but a few of the many standard features. An 8'6" beam, 3 degree
transom deadrise, four lift strakes, and a V bow make the ride ultra
stable, extremely buoyant, dry and comfortable. The low freeboard design
contributes to her light weight, reduce the sail area and make for a
wade fishermans delight. The flush cambered deck with her molded nonskid,
recessed stainless steel hardware and class A fit and finish is the
ultimate in fishability and must be experienced to appreciate. Hull
forms are available in NewWater's exclusive Lamiflow TM tunnel design
for unbelievable shallow water performance or the newly developed notch
